Microsoft is releasing Zune Mp3 Player late september. Its official announcement can be found here http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/press/2006/sep0... .        It is very late that Microsoft is entering into Mp3 player market. It is not sure whether it is going to compete with Apple's iPod, which has been in market for long time and has introduced versions of it. It is very difficult in the current market where the market is fully loaded with lots of mp3 players from Creative, Samsung etc. Though Zune has high expectation it is to wait and watch whether it meets the requirement of the masses keeping price tag low. It is not fully loaded with features guns as well. Creative Zen Vision M/W are the ones which have best list of features to current date including TV OUT port. Earlier there were rumors that zune will have sensitive touch screen but that is missing. Here is just preview of Microsoft Max a RSS Reader, Photo sharing and List creation. It is based on .net framework 3.0. You may have to download which of 54Meg. The new Yahoo! Messenger Version 8 is released quiet some time before. Is it worth upgrading from pervious version ? The answer from my point will certainly be " NO ".   What are all new features a. International Call facility (Already available in 7 and above) b. Talk with MSN users (Really new feature and really wonderful) c. Plugins instead of TABS. (Cool to watch but really too much buggy) d. Good address book search facility. e. Nothing much more..   Ok.. The features are really looking very attractive. The features are tied with many disadvantages. International call facility is not used by users largely outside US and also not widely used by PC users who prefer to chat with from PC to PC rather.  Talking with MSN users, if it has been done long ago.. which includes only typing (chat) facility then it would have been a success.
